Name of the mystery tool

A Dough Whisk

What is a Dough Whisk?

This dough whisk is often referred to as a Danish dough whisk it is extremely easy to hold, and makes mixing all your ingredients together a breeze! It has a wooden handle, and a stainless steel whisk to ensure longevity.

Using this whisk is much faster and easier than using a spoon, as it has wide spaces to let the dough push through whilst incorporating any dry flour left in the bowl.

A Danish whisk is made up of three strong stainless steel wires. Coiled and stacked, the design of these wires ensures that you do not over work the dough or batter.

An essential multipurpose tool (works like a whisk and spoon), this whisk makes light work in the home and professional kitchen when working with baking projects. It is beautifully made with an ergonomic wood handle that is easy to grip.

Benefits:

  • Strong enough to mix heavier doughs like bread and pizza or light mixes like pancakes, muffins, cookies, fillings and more

Have I used the Dough Whisk? Do I need it?

No, I haven’t used this type of dough whisk. We do have machines with bread hooks that we use to mix our bread doughs.

If I was making a small batch this would be better than starting with a whisk then swapping over to a spoon when the dough is firming up.
