A cake turntable is also known as a revolving cake stand. A turntable is a spinning platform attached to a base. The top platform is flat, and that’s where cakes are placed for decoration.

A good size bowl is always ideal. Either a stainless steel bowl or a glass bowl is great. If storing the icing the glass is better. If you are mixing and using the icing on the same day then stainless steel if fine too.
