What does a Multi-Wheel Ribbon Cutter do?
This versatile tool will create ribbons from 3 to 50mm wide with a choice of plain or wavy line edging plus the option of including stitches. It comes complete with 2 cutting wheels, 2 stitch wheels, 2 large spacers and 2 small spacers all stored within its own special container. By reversing the cutter wheels you also have the option of mini spacers.
It can also be used for marking out when creating a striped effect cake to ensure that the strips of rolled icing are evenly spaced.
Have I used the Multi-Wheel Ribbon Cutter? Do I need it?
I do own a Multi-Wheel Ribbon Cutter, mine is slightly different to this one but it does the same job. When need to cut long or even size bits of rolled icing it does help get the job done. If you don’t have one you could use a ruler and a knife to cut strips of icing.
Do I use it every day?
I would use it on a cake that is needing ribbons made out of icing or cake that has a strip effect. I would not use it every day if I didn’t have a cake order requiring the ribbons.
