Flower Lifter
Name of the mystery tool
A Flower lifter
What does a flower lifter do?
Easily transfers butter cream flowers from nail to cake without damage. Angled design keeps your hands from touching the cake. Detachable blades for easy cleaning.
Have I used the flower lifter? Do I need it?
I do own a flower lifter tool, it does make it easier being at a slight angle to pick the flower up off the nail or board and then place it on the cake. However before this was invented a pair of smal to medium size scissors did a similar thing but being metal blade you need to make sure they were dry before packing them away.
Do I use it every day?
If I am doing butter cream flowers I would have these handy or a pair of scissors if I could find the plastic ones. I don’t do many buttercream flowers at the moment as it isn’t a trend at the present time, but you never know some trends circle back.
