Bulbulous Cone Modelling Tool

Sharing is caring!

Name of the mystery tool

Bulbulous Cone

What does a Bulbulous Cone do?

This modelling tool is ideal for use with a wide range of edible and non-edible materials, including sugar paste (rolled fondant), flower paste gum paste), marzipan or craft clays.

Add simple but effective detail to enhance your cakes, flowers and models. Ideal to use with a foam pad.

The tool can thin out edges, scrawl lines, and make holes in the material for putting wires through your flowers. This is also the perfect tool to thin out the edges of a Garrett Frill.

The back end is useful in modelling to create shapes and can be used to hollow and emboss various shapes.

Dimension: 167mm (6.6”)

PME tool number: 09

Have I used the Bulbulous Cone? Do I need it?

Yes, I use it when making fondant flowers or modelling fondant shapes, animals etc.

Do I use it every day?

I don’t use it every day, but when I am working with fondant, this tool, as well as the rest of the set, comes out, so I have them all at arm’s reach if I want to grab one of them to try.
