Name of the mystery tool
Scallop and Comb Modelling Tool
What does a Scallop and Comb Modelling Tool do?
This scallop and comb tool can be used to cut scalloped edges cut circular holes in plaques, and emboss mouth shapes on faces. It can also mark dotted lines to represent stitching or score parallel lines.
The scallop is brilliant for marking details on modelled figures from smiles and frowns to eyebrows – absolutely indispensable. The comb can be used to add textured designs to your paste.
Have I used the Scallop and Comb Modelling Tool? Do I need it?
Yes, I use it when making fondant flowers or modelling fondant shapes, animals etc.
Do I use it every day?
I don’t use it every day, but when I am working with fondant, this tool, as well as the rest of the set, comes out, so I have them all at arm’s reach if I want to grab one of them to try.
